I finally distributed instruments to my students! What I’ve learned is, there are SO many great video tutorials out there for the GCEA ukulele. But not really the baritone. There are some introductory lessons, but nearly nothing about how to play easy songs. My guess is that people are assuming players are coming from a GCEA background. However, my students are not. (I didn’t, either.)

So I will be doing everything I can to expand the selection of EASY songs for the baritone uke, particularly songs in G. (Also: It’s really hard to search for songs by key.) With that said, I present to you, “Under the Boardwalk” by The Drifters.

I recommend trying both keys to see which one fits your voice the best! Even though I can sing in a low range, I felt like I could project a bit better in this higher key.
