Ukulele Chord Chart – “Blue Skies”

This is “Blue Skies” by Irving Berlin. I love this song so much. I love the emotional meaning of the color blue (my favorite color), his use of mixed major and minor tonalities, and the melody itself of course. Kids love this song, too!

This arrangement is in a minor, also utilizing the dm, D7, C, G7, and fm chords.

As you invest your valuable time making music with me in my videos, consider enriching your learning experience with my supplemental song sheet.

I ask a small price for my custom song sheet PDFs. The PDFs contain all of the information I show in my videos, in an easy-to-digest visual format. They are formatted to print and place in your music binder, or display on your tablet. In addition to showing which chords to play and song lyrics, these sheets also show chord diagrams to support players who are still learning.

Downloadable PDFs include full song lyrics and chord diagrams for your specified tuning.

It takes a lot of time for me to create these resources, and I hope that your support can help me to keep creating more helpful tools for learning music!

Happy practicing!

  1. Thank you soooo much. As an 82 year old who has played since 12 , I’m just meeting with a 7 year old to chat about the Uke. think we’ll start with Baby Beluga.

And I love your Blue Skies, for myself. Remember that songs sometimes have an intro to set the stage. With your video intro you are well positioned to revive the intro, perhaps as a ps at the bottom?
